Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Entry-Level CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in precision machining. The CNC Machinist will assist with operating CNC machines, inspecting parts, and maintaining a safe and efficient production environment while receiving on-the-job training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment under supervision.
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
  • Perform basic machine setups and adjustments as instructed.
  • Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and production specifications.
  • Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect parts.
  • Monitor machine performance and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Ensure parts meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical school or vocational training in machining is a plus.
  • Basic math and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read measuring instruments and shop drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with CNC machining concepts.
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools.
  • Basic blueprint reading knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
